The Murderer In The Mirror

Once upon a time. There was a young and naive detective. Named James Stroganoff.
James always had the desire to be a most famous respected and well known detective. He studied hard and would do all that he could to solve a crime. Always within the bounds of the law of course. Starting Wednesday at 3:00 PM. James recieved a call about a murder. James got right to work. Yet was shocked when he found out the location was in his own neighborhood. The victim was stabbed no witnesses. The next day there was another murder. Again in his neighborhood. He stayed up late doing everything he could to find the murderer. Yet to no avail. He woke up the next morning with blood on his hands and feeling a bit hurt. He was shocked for the blood was not his. And on that day another person was murdered. James tested the blood on his hands it was the blood of the victim. But how he exclaimed.

The murders continued each time James would wake up with blood and even body parts of the victim. He washed his hands in his restroom. Looking in the mirror in fear. A voice spoke to him. It was his own voice. Saying You are the murderer james.

No exclaimed James. No I cant be I'm a good detective I've done everything right. You lie said the voice. For truly you hide behind a mask of a kind detective when in reality you are nothing more then a scum murderer. Think about it. All you ever wanted was to be a great detective. Things weren't going right. So you became the murderer yourself. You were so traumatized by that first kill that you forgot all about it. And about all the times after. The voice proceeded to explain to James how he committed each murder and the circumstance surrounding it. James began to remember the events. He began  realizing how dark he truly was. After some time of weeping and grieving James drove to the police station and turned himself in. Mean while the man behind the mirror who committed the murders and blamed it on Detective James exclaimed.

Oh the ignorance of humanity. How dumb and easily manipulated they are. When traumatized they forget as though it was never there. And when made to believe in delusions there minds create what never was. And the man hiding behind the mirror laughed.
