Salutation children of man. If you would be so kind as to adulge me as I spout forth a few thoughts concerning the Hebrew name or title HaShem. As with many of my thoughts that have been and will be written it is Sine qua not that you have and understanding of the kabbalah, as well as a layman's knowledge of the Hebrew language. With that in mind here I go. 

Shem or Hashem the name is composed of the Hebrew Letters Shin and Mem. Shin is one of the 3  Mother letters meaning Fire. And Mem likewise meaning water. Fire and water have often been symbolic of the male and female. Fire Male. Water Female. Thus Shem or Ha Shem is the Male and Female. The star of David. It's numerical value is 340 with the Hey 345. Rearrange 354 the value of a lunar year. The ancient Akkadian moon God Sin was said to have gone from male to female. Thus perhaps this name symbolizes just that the male becoming female. The Prophet Moses is said by many scholars to be a copy or rather based on the Pharaoh Akhenaten which according to my reasearch was said to be a Hermaphrodite of some sorts. Aphroditus was a Greek hermaphrodite God associated with the moon. Going back to Moses whos name backwards in hebrew is in fact Ha Shem. Was according to the Bach saga a female. Thus we see his association with Akhenaten and his name seem to symbolize a transition. Recalling the numerical value of the letters. Shin 300 Mem 40. Take away the zeros and you have 3 the number of man and 4 the number of women. Putting them forth together is 7 the number of completion. Add in the Hey and you have 12 the number of the zodiac or authority. 12 is also 1 + 2=3. The trinity. Father son Holy Ghost. Or perhaps Man Women Hermaphrodite.

The word for heaven or heavens in Hebrew is Shamayim. Shin Fire, Open Mem Water, Yod Hand, and Closed Mem earth. It could be read as Shemi Mem. My name is 40 or my name is concealed. My name is mystery. My name is a secret. For the closed Mem represents that which is concealed the secret doctrine. The Kabbalah. It could also be I am Male and Female Secret.

Rather Yah the moon God is both Male and Female keep it secret. Or Yah went from Male heavenly to Female earthly. Perhaps that's why it has 2 mems. For Yah took upon himself a body. Thus not an actual gender change. But symbolic of such.
